Hello, and welcome to a showcase of my work as a visual ethnographer, documentary film director and musician.
Since graduating from Goldsmiths University of London, UK, in 2015 with an MA in Visual Anthropology, I have been working in ethnographic research, documentary and fiction film. However, since further back I have been making music as a singer, songwriter and producer, recording and performing solo and in collaboration with other artists, platforms and producers.
As a filmmaker and researcher, I hold a particular interest in perspectives that take a closer look at how the social intersects with the corporeal/sensorial. Experimenting with an embodied viewing- and listening experience, as well as with multiple perspectives, I have applied this to audio-visual investigations into areas such as scent, dance, gender and sexuality, sustainability, social justice and health.
